L'ABUS D'ALCOOL EST DANGEREUX POUR LA SANTÉ, À CONSOMMER AVEC MODÉRATION.
The Maison invited B.D. Graft to create 20 unique sustainable second skin magnum cases. In his hands these become white canvases for colorful creations that pay tribute to the beauty of nature, featuring unique designs, numbering, and a signature of the artist.
These limited editions of the second skin magnum cases will be presented from November 20-27 at PAN Amsterdam, the Netherland’s leading art fair in art, antiques and design.
Ruinart has pledges a contribution from the sale of every Ruinart bottle to be donated to World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization that tackles the most pressing issues at the intersection of nature, people and climate.
PORTRAIT OF THE ARTIST
B.D. Graft is a visual artist living and working in Amsterdam.
Nature and the human condition play central roles in his work, and the therapeutic effect of art making is something the artist is eager to pass on to the viewer.
On the one hand his work celebrates life, on the other it serves as a reminder of how fleeting and vulnerable it is, thereby promoting a sense of community and conscious living.
Somewhere between pretty and ugly, the sincere and cynical, the purely decorative and the meaningful, B.D. Graft’s work sits paradoxically between each of these positions and is best left to speak for itself.
