The day begins with an assessment of four still or sparkling wines from different regions of the world. Participants will evaluate them based on their description, suggested pairings, and ideal serving temperature. It will be followed by a lunch. The day will end with a masterclass led by an oenologist from Maison Ruinart.
Created in 2010 and held in 20 cities around the world, the Ruinart Sommelier Challenge is a program that aims to unite talented sommeliers with values of excellence who wish to continue their training in wine and wine making.
The winners of each nation will participate in a 4-day training session in the Champagne region.
