Dom Ruinart are made entirely of Chardonnay Grand Cru from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims vineyards. Born in great vintages, they come from the best harvests. It is at the heart of the cellars of Maison Ruinart that these prestige bottles are slowly aged, for an average of ten years, and gain in aromatic complexity.
It was the year 1959 that had the privilege of giving birth to the first cuvée Dom Ruinart, a Blanc de Blancs developed as an ode to the great Chardonnays, which was then released in 1966.
A rosé Dom Ruinart cuvée closely followed with the 1966 vintage, which went on to be sold in 1973.
