Ruinart continues its Conversations with Nature art series by inviting artist Tadashi Kawamata to share his artistic vision. His works will be exhibited at the Frieze Los Angeles art fair from February 26 to March 1, 2026.

TADASHI KAWAMATA

Born in Japan in 1953, Tadashi Kawamata lives and works between Tokyo and Paris. He is a major artist on the contemporary scene. His artistic career explores the relationship between art, architecture, design, and everyday life, with a particular focus on environmental issues and the reuse of materials.

THE ARTWORKS

Tadashi Kawamata is renowned for his site-specific installations made from wood or recycled materials, designed to interact with their surroundings and offer a new perspective on nature and the places that host them. Tadashi Kawamata will unveil site-specific installations designed especially for Ruinart's premises at 4 RUE DES CRAYÈRES in Reims.
