Participants will put their expertise to the test, evaluating a selection of still and sparkling wines from around the world. Their expertise will be assessed on wine identification, description, suggested pairing, and ideal serving temperature by a jury of industry professionals. The day continues with a masterclass led by an oenologist from Maison Ruinart, exploring this year's theme, Exploring Rosé: Ripening & Winemaking.
The experience concludes with an exclusive dinner at the newly two-Michelin-starred the dune, followed by an overnight stay at The Florentin in Frankfurt, creating the perfect atmosphere for meaningful exchange and networking with industry peers.
Founded in 2010, the Ruinart Sommelier Challenge is now hosted in more than 20 cities worldwide, uniting talented sommeliers and celebrating the Art of Sommellerie.
The winner of the German edition will be invited to an exclusive four-day immersion in Champagne, experiencing Maison Ruinart firsthand.
