Everyone knows that a small silver spoon suspended in the neck of an open bottle of champagne preserves its sparkle.
The myth of the little silver spoon originated from the customs and history of champagne, although we do not really know how or when it first arose. However, since the internationally acclaimed designer, India Mahdavi, introduced this little spoon to the world of contemporary table art, there has been no dispelling the myth.
In 2006, the little spoon was turned into the Champagne Spoon for the Maison Ruinart Prestige Collection. It gained a new shape in the process, with a smooth and gleaming silver oblong head, slim body and handle simplified into a small rounded droplet.
