As of July 2015, the historical address of the maison and the “Champagne vineyards, Houses and cellars” are part of the prestigious UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. With their three levels descending to a depth of 38 metres and a total length of eight kilometres, the magnificent chalk pits of the maison, illuminated by shafts of light, offer ideal conditions for the fermentation and ageing of champagne. These white cathedrals offer a grandiose exhibition for visitors from around the world.
