This year, at Viva Technology, Maison Ruinart will present a preview of its brand new Augmented Reality project which plays with the codes of the classic escape game. It prompts users to join in the action and solve riddles within a limited time frame and an enclosed space.
Shown for the first time ever, this project was conceived as a fully-immersive experience, during which participants can discover in a playful way the heritage, know-how and artists behind Maison Ruinart. The game takes place in an experiential room that references Ruinart’s iconic Unesco-listed chalk cellars called “Crayères”.
For this preview, 4 Augmented Reality enigmas will be shared with the visitors of Viva Technology. The topics will revolve around the emblematic shape of the Ruinart bottle, the craftmanship of the riddling process, the 1734 Oyster Lunch painting by Jean-François de Troy (first representation of champagne in art history) and the artistic collaborations of the Maison starting with Alfons Mucha in 1896.
