The first flowers have arrived in our vineyards!
Flowering is a very important stage in the cycle of a vine. Not only does its arrival indicate the beginning of grape growing, it also marks the countdown for harvest.
During flowering a vine is incredibly sensitive to meteorological conditions and extreme weather can directly affect the yields.
Needless to say flowering is key to harvest. As a rule of thumb, it takes about 92 days to harvest as soon as full flowering has been achieved.
