Tell me the story of the muselet
The muselet is not simply a wire cage; it has been reincarnated as a bottle stopper. Its age-old frame has been transformed into a sophisticated structure, its twisted metal wire into a precious thread.
The House of Ruinart has enjoyed close and long-standing relations with the art and design world, starting in 1896 when André Ruinart commissioned the Czech artist, Alfons Mucha, to create an advertising poster. Since then, Ruinart maintains close links with contemporary art giving carte blanche to well-known artists and providing support for major art fairs throughout the world.
