Georgia Russell is a Scottish visual artist who loves France and old books. Strolling along the banks of the Seine, she met booksellers and fell under the charm of their works. She read them, transformed them and deployed her creativity with a scalpel sculpting these remains of the past, with rapid and precise repeated gestures. This passion gave birth to her work for the Blanc de Blancs gift box.
For Blanc de Blancs, the artist Georgia Russell has created and sculpted an immaculate white adornment, incised with numerous notches, as a tribute to the magnificent cellars of the House of Ruinart. The subtle play of light on the bottle reveals the golden glints of the chardonnay, the symbolic grape variety of the House of Ruinart.
As a patron of contemporary art and design, Maison Ruinart can be found all over the world, wherever the artists of today enjoy the freedom to express themselves and exhibit their work.
