PORTRAIT

Hubert le Gall was born in Lyon in 1961. After graduating in management, he decided to move to Paris in 1983. Five years later, he began to exercise his creative talents there, designing functional and poetic pieces of furniture and working as a scenographer for numerous French and international exhibitions.

A Patron of Contemporary Art and Design

The House of Ruinart has enjoyed close and long-standing relations with the art and design world, starting in 1896 when André Ruinart commissioned the Czech artist, Alfons Mucha, to create an advertising poster. Since then, Ruinart maintains close links with contemporary art giving carte blanche to well-known artists and providing support for major art fairs throughout the world.
